“On the floor, there’s no difference between any of us.”
Henry Jacobs didn’t find music — he was raised inside it. Singers, a pianist, a father who danced; sound was the family’s first language before it was ever a career. Nine of those years he spent dancing himself — which is why he reads a floor like a body, not a tracklist. A Los Angeles DJ and producer in melodic techno and progressive house, he plays for one thing — the goosebumps, the surrender, the moment a thousand strangers stop performing and breathe as one. He calls it presence. It has a name now: ESM — Electronic Soul Music. Any genre, one law: the soul has to feel it. A lifetime led here — Exchange LA, fifteen hundred people, the stage he’d dreamed of since he was twenty. The first room that felt like the right one. Not the last.
ELECTRONIC
SOUL MUSIC.
The mind analyzes music. The soul recognizes it. The chill down your arm. The memory that arrives uninvited. The eyes that close on their own. The joy that forgets your age. Not a genre. Any tempo, any language, any sound. One law: the soul must move.
FOUNDED BY HENRY JACOBS.
ONE FEELING. MANY LANGUAGES.
Originals and remixes across melodic techno, progressive, tribal, minimal — each one bent toward the same thing: the moment a room forgets itself.
THE ROOM FORGETS ITSELF.
One law: the soul must move. Watch it hold — full sets, start to finish.
